Denton County Data Center and Phase 2 Administration Complex Nearing Completion

AppliedTech Group has contributed to the success of the Administration Complex project with our designs for the technology infrastructure of the new Denton County Data Center. Our design work for Phase 2 of the Administration Complex included the technical designs for all the equipment rooms in the new buildings and the associated extensive outside fiber and copper cable plant. Plus, AppliedTech Group designed the audio-visual and control systems throughout several buildings.

AppliedTech Group participated in the GSR Andrade Architects led project by providing designs for Telecommunication and IT infrastructure, Audio-Visual systems and instructional technology, and a school-wide Public Address and Intercommunication system. Built at a cost of $28.8 million dollars, the new 199,246-square-foot middle school features 63 classrooms with a capacity to serve 1,250 students in grades six through eight.

AppliedTech Group Designing Audio-Video Systems for Fort Worth ISD Culinary Arts Facility

AppliedTech Group is designing high definition automated video systems for demonstration and display kitchens sharing a common control system for the video displays, projectors, video processing and switching. They also will share common control for the sound systems for individual spaces. Both audio and video will be controlled remotely from each kitchen. The video control system will allow any kitchen to be shown on any video projector or video display and streamed over the internet.

The Center for Advanced Research and Technology is a research center and service facility at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas that supports scientific research activities through a wide array of sophisticated characterization and processing instruments. AppliedTech Group has completed designs of the Information Technology, Audio-Video and Security System systems for their newest laboratory. AppliedTech’s A/V design is comprised of capturing, switching and displaying the video feeds from several electron microscopes to a network of display monitors throughout the facility and also for streaming over the internet.

The Dallas Omni Convention Center Hotel Opens – Dallas, TX

The Dallas Omni is a 1.14 million SF, 23-story 4-star hotel with 1,000 guest suites and more than 110,000 SF of flexible meeting and event space including 21 meeting rooms, and a grand and junior ballroom, encompassing 32,000 and 15,000 SF respectively. AppliedTech Group provided Audio-Video, Information Technology and Security System designs for this new facility. Our designs included projection, sound and control systems for the flexible meeting and event space including 21 meeting rooms, and grand and junior ballrooms. Designs also included video distribution throughout the entire facility including all guestrooms, facility wide digital signage and facility wide background music. AppliedTech Security System designs included access control and management along with video surveillance and management for the facility.
