Built at a cost of $28.8 million dollars, the new 199,246-square-foot middle school features 63 classrooms with a capacity to serve 1,250 students in grades six through eight.

Founded in 1913, it offers programs for Spanish-speaking children, primarily from Juarez, to attend high school in the United States and attend an American undergraduate university.
